Counter

Server metrics with memory

htop, but it remembers yesterday.

A lightweight daemon that snapshots /proc every 60 s: CPU, memory, swap, disk, network, top processes. It ships everything to a queryable timeline. ssh + top is great until the box already OOM’d. Counter gives you the replay.

Personal server monitoring. No agents to configure.

One-Line Setup

One curl installs the CLI. counter start daemonizes a collector sampling every 60 s. No agents, no YAML, no JVM.

Everything top Shows, Over Time

Load average, per-process CPU/RSS, swap pressure, mountpoint usage, bytes in/out per NIC. All indexed by hostname and timestamp.

CLI + Web Dashboard

counter query dumps tables. counter graph renders sparklines. Or open the dashboard. It's htop with a scrubber bar.
